Writing invalidation you will actually honour

“I’ll get out if it feels wrong” is not invalidation. Neither is a stop parked at a round number with no structure behind it.

Prefer sentences a stranger could audit: “Long invalid if a 30-minute candle closes below 72,400” or “Idea cancelled if price has not tagged the first target by Friday cash close.” Time stops belong in risk-to-reward planning when opportunity cost matters as much as price risk.

During coaching we rehearse saying the sentence aloud before entry. Awkward at first; less awkward than debating with yourself while the candle prints through your level.
